New Years is just four months away and folks I know have begun scouring the best deals for New Years eve cruises. The Sydney Harbour fireworks are world renowned with many tourists both local and international flocking to the city to watch this spectacle. You have got to watch the fireworks aboard a cruise at least once because its an experience of a lifetime. My first fireworks experience ringing in 2016 was indeed awesome and full of adventure. Read it here.
A cruise on New Years eve can cost you anywhere between $450 to $1200 per person. Its definitely better to book early to save anywhere between $50 to $100 per person as ticket prices rise in the last few weeks. With one New Year eve experience under my belt, let me help you pick the best cruises for New Years eve at Sydney Harbour!
1. Any Boat
They top my list because I booked a New Years eve cruise through them last year. Any Boat is like a marketplace where private boat companies get listed for booking events such as New Years eve, Christmas Cruise and more. If you are with a group of friends, then you can also select the private boat hire option here
Hiring your own private yacht can be a costly affair, so many choose the private ticket cruises which range from $350 to $650 per person. We decided to go for Galene with a capacity of 100 guests, which meant there was plenty of room to dance, move around and enjoy Sydney Harbour view for nearly 8 hours with other friendly groups and couples. The cruise was catered with unlimited drinks and finger food with non-vegetarian and limited vegetarian options. After the 9 pm fireworks the guests were also given noodle box meals. If you wish a for a relaxed, casual evening out with no sit-down meals then Galene is an excellent choice at $495 per person. Let me add their music onboard was also fun

2. Constellation Cruises
Constellation Cruises has a luxury catamaran accommodating 50 to 200 guests. I went on a Vivid Cruise aboard Constellation Cruises in June and it was overall a good experience, as we also enjoyed the onboard buffet plus complimentary drinks. Read the post here.
So, I think their New Years eve cruise is also a great option. Their $5 million supercat Constellation has viewing decks at all levels giving you a comfortable view of the fireworks. If you prefer dinner seating with friends or family, then you should check it out before it gets fully booked. They are currently offering early birds rate for an all inclusive dinner, dancing and drinks package for $650 per person. To know more visit here
